Grade 3 Atocha Coins

Grade 3 Atocha coins exhibit more severe corrosion and are typically well under weight.  Sometimes one side of the coin will show corrosion while the other side does not, or a portion of the planchet may be totally missing with decent detail on what is remaining.  Often either the mintmark, assayer mark or denomination are still visible.  Atocha coins are supplied with the original photo type Certificate of Authenticity and a booklet "Shipwrecks and Their Coins: Volume 1 - 1622 Spanish Treasure Fleet" that provides details about the fleet and its coins.  Display your Atocha coin and Certificate of Authenticity in our multiple sleeved display folder Mount your Atocha coin in a 14k Gold Bezel.
